Diploma winner and medalist of international photo competitions under the auspices of FIAP (International Federation of Photographic Art) and PSA (Photographic Association of America).
He has held four solo exhibitions in Ukraine and one in Poland.

He began taking photographs with his father’s Flexaret in 1976 at the age of 12 in Kežmarok. During high school, he continued to gain experience through available literature and the photography club at the Kežmarok high school. Photographer Vladimír Koštial from Tatranská Lomnica played a significant role in shaping him and passing on valuable experience. He continued to pursue photography while studying at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Technical University in Košice, from which he graduated in 1987. In the beginning, he focused primarily on documentary work and experiments in the darkroom.
